As we said at the beginning, this module is not designed to turn you into a coach – however having a greater understanding of the skills and principles of coaching, together with an increased awareness of Emotional Intelligence, will help you to develop your capability and confidence in your role of Senior Practitioner.

People are more likely to respond positively to innovation and change if they feel that they are an integral part of that change. The way they are treated and how engaged they feel in the process, will depend on the strength of the working relationship we build with them.

We hope that this module has given you a useful insight into how the principles and skills of coaching give you some practical tools in helping you to be an emotionally intelligent leader and support you in embedding innovation and change in your organisation.
